a psalm about finding fullness in Jesus
Y'all it has been a minute! There is SO much I need to catch you all up on like how has life been as a woman moving closer and closer to 30, why I took a break from writing, oh and did I tell you I started Invisalign??
We'll talk about ALL this in future blogs, but for now, here is the 'song' on my heart which describes the satisfaction and fullness of knowing Jesus.
Jesus my heart feels safest when I’m focused on You. When I’m locked into Your love and will for me.
My mind finds rest when it’s filled with Your truth.
You are peace and freedom.
Sometimes I get tired. Sometimes the change doesn’t come quick enough and I begin to look at my problems, struggles, and lack. I sometimes resort to quick fixes and short paths to avoid the pain or discomfort, but that never seems to fix it, or lead me quite where I wanted to go.
When it gets hard, help me to lean into You.
When I’m tired, refresh my soul.
Cause my heart to seek You when nothing in my mind desires to.
I’ve tasted and seen that You are the Bread of Life. The Living Water. You are Peace. You love me fully and completely. And nothing in this life will satisfy me except for You. Fill me God.
