Take a pause in your day over the next week to slow down and reflect. Take a warm shower, do your skincare routine, make a cup of tea, then grab your journal and start writing. Use the journal prompts below to help guide your writing. Also, if you're struggling to write, use these questions as conversation starters with a close friend!
There’s No Such Thing As A Dumb Question, Right? If you knew God would answer your wildest, most crazy, or, even, smallest prayer, what would you ask Him for? Why?
Self Check-In. Find a quiet space. Take some time to breathe and scan your body. How are you really feeling? Is there any tension or pressure in your body? What thought has been on your mind recently?
An Attitude of Gratitude. What are you thankful for today? What thing in your life can you work on not taking for granted?
Receive It. What positive things happened to you, or were said to you, this week that you may not have taken the time to recognize and receive? Any compliments?
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for Your faithful love for me. Thank You for another day of life and the opportunity to serve You. Help me to be kind to myself and others this week. Open my eyes to what it is that I already have, that you want me to use in this season, and give me the courage to use it. You know where I’m weak, allow me to see Your grace and power in those areas. Fill my heart and mind with Your love and cause it to spill over into those I encounter. In Jesus name, Amen.
